Bilyeu, MSAAE, Michael

Michael Bilyeu currently serves as the Director of Emerging Technologies for NineTwelve Institute. In this role, he assists key stakeholders within NTI innovation facilities in emergent technologies, with an emphasis on Hypersonics, Space, 5G, Unconventional Energy, and Advanced Manufacturing. Michael also serves as a subject matter expert for the Department of Defense in Hypersonics and Advanced Propulsion Systems. He also previously functioned as Test and Assessment Lead for 5G/Long Range Communications for subsequent combatant commands. Prior to NTI, Michael was a successful entrepreneur with expertise in tactical business strategies, as well as an advanced power and propulsion engineer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, where he specialized in propulsion and aerodynamics, minoring in Nuclear Engineering.
